Aquaculture Certification Council

The (GAA) Alliance established the Aquaculture Certification Council (ACC). The Council uses independent certification teams to carry out site inspections at aquaculture facilities around the world and ensure they are meeting GAA BAP (Best Aquaculture Practices) standards.

Better Seafood Board

The Better Seafood Board (BSB) was formed in 2007 to support the commitment of NFI members to abide by industry principles of economic integrity by not selling seafood that is short in weight or count, that has the wrong name, or that has been transshipped from one country to another to circumvent duties and tariffs.
Ocean Trust

High Liner has partnered with Ocean Trust to lead the restoration of marine resources and coastal estuaries that serve as nursery and habitat areas for important fishery and shellfish resources including shrimp, crab, oyster, clams, scallops, salmon, sturgeon, and many other commercial and recreational species, marine wildlife, and migratory birds.
